LidWorks is seeking an Account Manager to join our Sales Team.

Duties:*

• The Account Manager role is responsible for developing new customers and maintaining and growing current customer relationships via executing a defined sales strategy based on marketing intelligence.
• Maintain the company’s commercial strategy and manage all customers and prospects in the Southeast region.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing profitable sales growth, and achieving opportunistic objectives, while ensuring a consistent market message.
• Establish and implement market and product-related sales plans to meet overall objectives.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to balance company objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Actively participate in marketing to hone overall commercial go-to-market approaches.
• Develop segment and customer intelligence to feed the pipeline for growth.
• Lead in sales forecasting and strategic account planning.
• Maximize the utilization of CRM tools for business intelligence traceability.
• Identify, develop, or evaluate sales strategy, based on knowledge of company objectives, market characteristics, trends, and known/learned price/cost factors.
• Gain advice regarding the types of products expected to be in demand, including environmentally sound or sustainable products.
• Consult with marketing and product development on product specifications, such as design, color, printing, use, and or packaging.
• Participate in Industry events such as trade shows, conferences, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:*

• A.S/BS/MS degree.
• 5+ years related experience in progressive sales roles, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge in account management and value price management.
• Independent thinker who has excellent leadership skills and is able to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience in food service or packaging markets is preferred.
• Large account management is a major plus.
• Competency or exposure to plastic thermoforming or manufacturing is preferred.
• Demonstrated B2B sales skills are a plus.
• Prior experience in both direct and distribution channel environments is preferred.
• Independent thinkers, self-starters, resilient and perseverant in their efforts.
• Ability to identify and prioritize organic growth opportunities and build a profitable pipeline.
• Able to manage own administration, technology, etc.
